Teams

  • Number of teams: 10
  • Number of players per team: 14
    • There is no requirement to pay any player to play for a UGC franchise
  • Team composition: All players chosen by the UGC Teams will be as per handicap buckets specified in the rules of the tournament.
 

Your Team

  • Team composition: All players nominated as per handicap buckets (Subject to change) -
    • 00-07 | min. 2 players
    • 08-14 | min. 5 players
    • 15-18 | min. 2 players
    • 19-24 | min. 1 players
    • Ladies | min. 2 players (could be any above handicap bucket)
    • The balance players can be from any handicap bucket
    • Any player playing whose handicap is above 24 will have to play as a 24 handicapper
  • The Team shall adhere to all the code of conduct and rules & regulation of UGC.
  • It is the Team’s responsibility to ensure all its players demonstrate responsible conduct at all times.

Game Modus

100 players / 10 players per team

Day 1

  • Captain to choose any 10 players irrespective of handicap bucket
  • Strokeplay on Modified Stableford
    • Double Eagles / Net Double Eagle – 8 points
    • Eagle / Net Eagle – 5 points
    • Birdie / Net Birdie – 2 Points
    • Par / Net Par – 0 Points
    • Bogey / Net Bogey – Minus 2 Points
    • Double Bogey / Net Double Bogey or more – Minus 3 Points
  • Dynamic handicapping system:
    • Upto 37 points / No reduction
    • 38-39 points / 2 strokes
    • 40-41 points / 3 strokes
    • 42 or more / 4 strokes
  • 4 players compulsory to be substituted after the first round
  • Leaderboard as per top 8 scores of each team

Day 2

  • Strokeplay & Matchplay on Stableford scoring
    • A player will play against all other 9 players as per the order #
    • A player will score 2 points for a win, 1 for a half and 0 for a loss
    • Each player can win 18 bonus points for their team
  • A cumulative leaderboard at the end with Stableford (top 8 from each round) & matchplay points will decide the winning team
  • Point System for Modified Stableford Format (Day 1 & Day 2)
    • 10th Position – 5 Points
    • 9th Position – 6 Points
    • 8th Position – 7 Points
    • 7th Position – 8 Points
    • 6th Position – 9 Points
    • 5th Position – 10 Points
    • 4th Position – 20 Points
    • 3rd Position – 30 Points
    • 2nd Position – 40 Points
    • 1st Position – 50 Points
    *Any ties the teams will share the points
  • 4 players to be compulsorily substituted and following handicap buckets to be strictly adhered to:
    • 0-7 Handicap - 2
    • 8-14 Handicap - 2
    • 15-18 Handicap - 2
    • Lady Handicap - 1
    • 3 from any bucket
